In the midst of chaos, Jesus encourages us to remain Steadfast in times of trials 1 Corinthians 15:58 - "Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord"(James 1:12) to fix our eyes on him (Hebrews 12:2) to not fear or allow anxiety to rule our lives but rather be people of faith. Jesus encourages us to be a blessing to others (Genesis 12:1-3) and those that are a blessing, will be blessed.

Have faith that the Lord your God is always near, for even through the trials and tribulations of life, you never walk alone. Isaiah 41:10 - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Sickness and disease is not from the Lord. Gods will is to heal and deliver. By His stripes, we were healed (1 Peter 2:24). Jesus bore all sickness, so we wouldn't have to, just as He bore all sin for us. The power of sickness is sin, and if sin is defeated, sickness has no legal right in any believer. The Lord knows we are not perfect, so confess your sins in order to purify your heart and mind. James 5:6 - Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed."

As Christians we are to stand firm in faith and on hold on to the truth (1 Corinthians 15:58). Ephesians 6:11 - "Put on the full armour of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil."

With so many people currently crippled with fear, anxiety and sadness over the Coronavirus pandemic, Jesus wants you to be the voice in the midst of this difficult time to offer words of encouragement, to be the light and to pray for healing. 2 Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of Fear, but of Power and of Love and of a Sound Mind.

Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. Psalm 91:3-7

We may not understand God's big plan, but we should trust that He has one for us. Everything in our lives happens that way for His reason. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good. Romans 8:28. With God on our side, we have nothing to truly fear. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
